Abstract
The catering and hospitality team at Hull City Tigers has won the top accolade at the annual Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards for the second year in a row.

The team at the stadium and Venue Catering Partner won the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award, as well as the Matchday Hospitality Award - Medium Stadium.

Dan Coulson, general manager at Hull City Tigers, said: “To win in 2015 was amazing, but to win again in 2016 is just incredible.  This award belongs not only to Hull City Tigers and Venue Catering Partner, but all the wonderful staff and suppliers who work passionate and tirelessly to deleiver the best service we can, every time!”

F3, the catering and hospitality partner of Manchester City Football Club took home three awards, including the Media Choice Award, voted for by visiting local and national media, and the Matchday Hospitality Award - Large Stadium.

Neil Worcester, managing director of F3, said: “It’s always exciting to win an award, but to come away with three amongst such stiff competition is an amazing feat.

“We know that it’s down to the team at the Etihad Stadium and I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to them for their hard work and commitment to being the best in their field.”

The Sodexo Prestige team at Everton Football Club took home the Chef Team of the Year Award, judged as part of the live kitchen event at Hotelympia and required to create a three course menu suitable for their club chairman to entertain the head of the FA to dinner.

Julie Tandy, catering services director from Sodexo Prestige at Everton Football Club, said: “This is a fantastic result for Sodexo at Everton FC.  Darren Ryder and Anthony Smith under executive head chef Gareth Billingham excelled at producing a top class meal under time constraints as they do for our matchday clients at all EFC matches. Very proud!”

The awards were the 12th annual awards organised by Stadium Experiecne, and recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadium across the UK.
