As well as opening 10 new sites, including a Starbucks, SOHO Coffee Co., Burger King and Spanish charcuterie Enrique Tomás, the company will also take over existing sites.
SSP Spain director general, Blanca Ripoll, commented: “We are delighted to secure these units in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Airport.
“The new contract win reaffirms SSP’s position as a leading restaurant operator in the travel market in the Canary Islands, with a presence in Tenerife, Lanzarote and Las Palmas.
“The hospitality industry is currently very buoyant in Spain. Branded restaurant chains are particularly strong generators of wealth and employment in the country.”
New units are set to open later this year and into 2019, while two Burger King and one Starbucks are already trading.
