Abstract
Travel food operator, SSP Group PLC, has expanded its food and beverage offer at Glasgow Prestwick Airport with the opening of a new bar and kitchen, Par + Eagle.

Simon Smith, CEO of SSP UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to have opened our new Par + Eagle concept at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.  It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy hearty, wholesome food in a friendly and relaxed environment.”

Paying homage to Prestwick’s golfing heritage, Par + Eagle morning travellers can choose from a breakfast menu featuring items such as the all day breakfast, avocado & eggs served on a toasted English muffin and a selection of light choices.

The all-day menu offers a wide range of pub classics and house specials, including loaded burgers, southern fried chicken and beer battered fish and chips, while a wide variety of local draft beers, wines and cocktails are also available.

Families are well catered for at Par + Eagle with a ‘generous’ kids’ menu. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available, with portion sizes to suit everyone.

Zoe Kilpatrick, commercial director at Glasgow Prestwick Airport, said: “We’re thrilled to have worked with SSP to create a new bar and restaurant area in our departure lounge. This significant investment from SSP has created a modern environment for our passengers to enjoy the high-quality menu and service the Par + Eagle offers before they head off to one of our holiday hotspots.”
