Abstract
SSP, operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations, has reported like-for-like sales growth of 2.4% in its trading update for the first quarter of its financial year.
In the period from October 1st to December 31st 2016, SSP’s revenue increased by 4.3% on a constant currency basis.
The company experienced positive like-for-like sales growth in the UK and continental Europe, which was driven by increased passenger numbers in the air sector.
SSP reports that the new financial year has started in line with expectations and the pipeline of new contracts is ‘encouraging’.
