Abstract
Global food and drink travel operator SSP Group has won a brand new contract at Brussels South Charleroi Airport, which will see it open 12 food and drink units by August 2019.

The first, Starbucks, is expected to be trading by Christmas, with a Burger King, Panos and Camden Food to follow shortly after. The remaining eight units are scheduled to open by next summer.

SSP will offer a mix of international and local and bespoke concepts (created specially for the airport), located both landside and airside.

Managing director of SSP France and Benelux, Gérard d'Onofrio, said: "We’re very proud to be announcing this great range of new bars and restaurants, which has been developed in close partnership with the team at Brussels-Charleroi Airport.”

Jean-Jacques Cloquet, airport chief executive officer, added: "We’re delighted to welcome SSP as a new partner of the airport.

“Our innovative new concepts mean we’ll be able to ensure great quality service, and that there will be something of appeal for all our passengers."
