Springboard extends deadline for entries for its Awards for Excellence

Industry charity Springboard has extended the deadline for its annual Awards for Excellence, which celebrate and reward inspiring people, organisations and initiatives.

Closing date for entries is now September 19 2014, with the award winners announced at a spectacular celebration evening in the autumn.

Altogether there are three categories that encompass 17 prestigious awards. Last year’s winners included: River Cottage Chef School, which picked up the New Media Award; Talkington Bates, which won the Diversity in Employment Award; and James Thomson, OBE, Scotland’s best known hotelier-restaurateur, who received the coveted Chris Beaumont Award.
