Southampton schools select Eden Foodservice

Under the agreement, Eden Foodservice will provide catering services for students at Cantell Maths and Computing College, Redbridge Community School and Woodlands Community School. The contract, awarded after a competitive tender process, will provide meals and snacks throughout the day including breakfast, mid-morning break and lunch. As part of the deal, Eden Foodservice is tasked with increasing the use of fresh ingredients and developing a range of food that encourages healthy eating, as well as looking at ways to improve the overall student experience. Almost 22 catering staff will transfer to Eden Foodservice under TUPE regulations safeguarding existing jobs and ensuring appropriate legislative compliance. This will also support the efficient transfer of the contract to Eden Foodservice and ensure some continuity at each school.
