The report predicts the replacement of old-to-young training processes in favour of intergenerational training and that employees will demand an environment that better serves their quality of health and wellbeing.
The addition of robotics is predicted to create two million jobs in the next eight years and will work with people on jobs unique to humans.
James Bellini, futurologist, said: “The world of work is rapidly changing. This study shows that the arrival of millennials in the workforce will see a much more self-aware and demanding generation of employees who want their work to fulfill them emotionally, physical and academically.”
The report also predicts the increasing awareness of employees personal branding as well as a change to businesses’ structure that would see the emergence of cross-workplace. The report suggests that organisations would combine strengths by structuring interactions across job functions and specialisms.

Sodexo consulted global news organisations to identify trends, conducted over 55 hours of interviews and looked at data from news sources and research databases to conduct the report.
