The 2017 list is the fourth year in a row that Sodexo has featured on the list, which is published by The Times in partnership with Business in the Community.
Sean Haley, regional chairman, Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted our commitment to gender balance has seen us in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women for the fourth year running. Our internal research shows gender balance is not only the right thing to do, but also makes for better business outcomes.”
Sodexo made a commitment in 2015 to transparency in its public service pledge to carry out a pay audit of all its 34,000 employees and then announced its gender pay gap in November last year.
Sodexo’s 2016 Global Diversity and Inclusion Report shows global senior executives are 30% women. Global CEO Michel Landel has set a target to increase that figure to 35% by 2020 and 40% by 2025.
