Abstract
Sodexo has extended its contract with Oasis Community Learning through to 2020, as well as adding the provision of catering services to a further six Oasis schools.

John Barneby, chief operating officer of Oasis Community Learning, said: “We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with Sodexo. We believe that having access to good, healthy food is really important to help our students learn. We have been impressed by Sodexo’s passion for food and are confident that together we can continue to drive up-take of school meals.”

The partnership began with the multi-academy sponsors in 2010 and Sodexo has increased the number of Oasis schools it caters to since.

Sodexo‘s secondary school offer, The Social, encourages healthy eating with a high street-style offering with a wide range of choice of healthy, balanced dishes that appeal to the students.

In 2015, Sodexo achieved the Food for Life Catering Mark at 31 of the Oasis Academy schools.
