Evans has been with Sodexo for almost 30 years and at the end of January 2020 she was redeployed to Arrowe Park Hospital to take on the role of operations manager at the quarantine facility being mobilised within the hospital’s staff accommodation block.
The Arrowe Park quarantine facility remained open for six weeks in total and throughout the pandemic Evans volunteered to help those in need by shopping for elderly neighbours.
