Abstract
Sodexo has appointed Sonja Rowe to the role of senior business development manager for its education division.
Rowe, who has previously worked for Sodexo, will have responsibility for growing Sodexo's business portfolio by looking after university, independent schools and large group contracts within its education division. Rowe joins Sodexo from Avenance where she held the role of national sales manager for education. Prior to this, she also held sales manager roles at Hopkinson Catering and Yes Dining. In 2001, during her previous term at Sodexo, Rowe held the role of senior district manager where she was responsible for operating 38 sites, most of which were blue-chip accounts. Rowe said: "I am delighted to be back at Sodexo, taking on the role of senior business development manager for its education division. I look forward to using my experience to grow Sodexo's business in the education sector and I am excited about the challenging year ahead." Jeremy Alderton, sales director for Sodexo Education, said: "We are delighted that someone with such a wealth of experience in the education sector has joined our team. I am sure Sonja will be a major asset in growing our business portfolio and I look forward to working with her." Sodexo Education recently announced the signing of a number of significant contracts, including Caterham School, Harris Federation and the Richmond University.
