Abstract
Sodexo, a leading provider of on-site service solutions, recently appointed Glenn Ridsdale as the new director of financial performance, reporting to the chief financial officer.
Ridsdale is responsible for providing support to Sodexo's UK and Ireland chief executive and chief financial officer in the development and delivery of the financial and business targets.
The focus for the new director includes continued development of Sodexo Group's three year plan, which outlines the key objectives supporting the One Company, One Direction strategy. Ridsdale will also establish best practice management information in financial reporting, communications and analysis, with emphasis on embedding a new balanced scorecard performance measurement system in line with Group's three year plan.
He said: "I started working with Sodexo in August 2010 on a short term assignment. It didn't take long to realise that Sodexo had a great group of people working very hard to create something special.
"I am really looking forward to playing my part in the continued success of the company and meeting the rest of the Sodexo team across the UK and Ireland."
