Sodexo appoints new dietitian

Abstract
Sodexo has announced the appointment of Rupinder Gill as dietitian for its UK and Ireland business.
Gill, who is a state registered dietitian, will provide nutrition and dietetic advice for the company, working across its education, healthcare, corporate services and defence sectors. Gill will support Wan Mak, head of nutrition and dietetics, in implementing 'Healthwise', Sodexo's health and well-being philosophy. She will be responsible for ensuring Sodexo's food menus and service offers meet all Government nutritional guidelines and standards. She will play a major role in providing health and nutrition training to Sodexo chefs, unit managers and employees across the business. Gill said: "I am very excited about beginning my new role as dietitian within Sodexo. I feel that it is a fantastic opportunity to work within an organisation that shares my own commitment to nutrition, health and wellbeing, and I look forward to being involved in the company's continued success in these areas." Wan Mak, head of nutrition and dietetics, added: "I am delighted to welcome Rupinder to Sodexo. Her enthusiasm and knowledge will strengthen the nutrition and dietetics team, supporting and promoting the importance of health and wellbeing within our business." Gill previously worked as a student dietitian at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, where she worked across many areas including medical and paediatric nutrition.
