Julie Ennis takes over as the country president, which she will combine with her current role as managing director of corporate services in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Sodexo delivers services that ‘improve the quality of life to clients’ in the education and healthcare industries in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Those services range from catering, cleaning and grounds maintenance to enable clients to focus on their core business.
Slattery has won awards for her work in promoting diversity and inclusion. She is replacing the retiring Rohini Anand as global chief diversity officer.
The new country president, Ennis, now has the responsibility for growing business segments including education, healthcare and homecare in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Slattery, said: “I have always been a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and this for me is a dream role on the global stage.
“It’s going to be a very interesting and rewarding journey and I am leaving our business in Ireland in the extremely capable hands of Julie Ennis, under which it will continue to grow and thrive.”
Sodexo employs approximately 3,700 people in over 230 locations in Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a combined turnover of €141 million in 2018.
