Sodexo adds vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menus

Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events has added a brand new vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu to its client site, Hampden Park (Scotland).

Available as of this month (September), new dishes were unveiled during the venue’s 2018 Conference and Events Showcase, where over 100 delegates got to sample the food, including a gluten, dairy, lactose and nut free ‘classic’ chilli con carne, lasagne ‘with a twist’ and head chef’s very own ‘Hampden Haggis.’

 

The new menu will feature a different themed cuisine each week, catering for ‘all dietary requirements’ (vegan, vegetarian and coeliac).

 

David Buskie, head chef for Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events at Hampden Park, commented: “We are lucky enough in Scotland to have access to some of the world’s best produce.

 

“At Hampden Park, we pride ourselves in using seasonal Scottish produce that’s locally sourced - giving our menus the flavour, freshness and diversity that our customers demand.

 

“The showcase was the perfect opportunity to offer a peak into kitchen as we prepare to roll out our new Conference & Event Menus (this month). ’’

“The Showcase event has already proved to be a huge success with more than £150,000 worth of sales leads generated, and will now become an annual feature in our calendar.
