Abstract
Smeg Foodservice, domestic appliance provider, has appointed David Leason as technical service manager for the commercial team.

The role will see Leason work closely with the sales service department and offer training and advice to service partners. He will also oversee all aspects of product support and development.

Phil Coulstock, commercial channel director for Smeg Foodservice said: “David brings a wealth of industry knowledge and technical ability from his previous roles. Along with his ability to take on difficult challenges and his enthusiastic personality, we are sure that he will be a real asset to the foodservice team.”

Prior to his appointment, Leason worked for three years at Dodd Group Ltd as a project manager and at South Coast Catering and Fatboys Catering, offering technical support to engineers.

Smeg, established in 1989, supplies domestic products across the UK and manufactures professional foodservice equipment for the catering and hospitality industry.
