Abstract
A freehold 'restaurant with rooms', located in Kent Downs village just outside Canterbury, is up for grabs for a freehold interest of £800,000 through property agents Christie + Co.
Skippers Restaurant with Rooms is housed in a Grade II listed building and accommodates up to 100 diners within three separate dining areas, including a conservatory. The first floor comprises two en suite letting bedrooms and two-bedroom owner's accommodation. There is also a car park to the rear. Kevin Chapman of the Maidstone office of Christie + Co, who negotiated the sale, explained: "A restaurant has traded from these premises for 20 years, however, the current owner, Peter Malkin, has only owned the business for 16 months and wishes to pursue other ventures." He continued: "The sale is an ideal opportunity for a restaurateur to acquire freehold premises in this sough after village just outside Canterbury." Weblink: www.christie.com
