The new café and food store will be situated within the Lord Rogers-designed NEO Bankside in Southwark, just behind Tate Modern, close to the Thames Pathway.
Opening in July, Albion NEO Bankside will have 95 covers with a further 45 on its heated outside terrace.
The café’s dining space, that includes both individual and communal tables, will overlook an open-plan kitchen.
The menu will feature long-established British recipes and ingredients including an all day breakfast, sausage and mash, fish and chips and Irish stew.
Some of the UK’s best food producers and retailers are based close to the new café, at both Borough and Maltby Street Markets, and will supply many of the ingredients and produce found on the menu.
Albion will be open from early morning until late evening, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and supper. In the mornings, a takeaway coffee counter will also offer breakfast buns and pastries.
Conran said: “Albion has been a smash hit in Shoreditch and we believe it is a popular concept that will be an asset to any area and also a good business model.”
