From 4th November to 31st December 2024, 25 pence from every Vegan Festive Feast Sandwich sold will be donated directly to Meals & More. The festive campaign brings back the Vegan Festive Feast Sandwich, packed with Quorn’s bestselling Deli slides, tangy cranberry sauce, classic stuffing and a gravy mayo.
The funds raised will support the provision of healthy meals and enriching activities, ensuring that children are not forgotten during the festive period.
Following last year’s success, which saw over £4,000 raised, Simply Lunch and Quorn are committed to making an even greater impact in 2024 by expanding their support to reach more children in need.
Cheryl Graham, licensing manager at Quorn, said: “It delights us to continue our partnership with Simply Lunch, bringing back the delicious Vegan Festive Feast Sandwich and collaborating on an initiative that’s so close to the heart of our business.
“We’re committed to providing accessible and nutritious food solutions and nobody should be missing out, regardless of their circumstances. Inflationary pressures continue to have an effect on consumers, leading to difficult financial choices, particularly around the holidays. We’re passionate about helping tackle the growing issue of food poverty and supporting Meals & More continues to be an important part of this mission.”
Despite the positive response in 2023, over 4.3 million children in the UK still live in poverty, with many lacking access to adequate food and safe spaces during school holidays.
Meals & More plays an essential role by not only offering nutritious meals but also fostering social engagement and personal development for children during these difficult times.
Peter McGrath, operations director at Meals & More, added: “The support we received last year went beyond simply providing meals—it created pathways for children to grow and thrive. We are grateful for this ongoing partnership with Simply Lunch and Quorn and are excited to see the impact we can achieve together in 2024.”
