As part of the park's redevelopment, the cafe is being given a makeover which includes a new decking area for outside dining and the installation of glass windows that allow views across the country park.
Servest Food Co.’s John Fleming, executive chef for Scotland, is giving the menu a revamp to have a strong emphasis on provenance and will include Servest's Groundhouse coffee brand.
As part of the contract, Servest will be providing food for events that take place at the park throughout the year.
The park is part of East Ayrshire Leisure, a Scottish Charitable Independent Organisatio (SCIO) which operates and manages cultural, countryside and sports facilities and services.
Tony Winterbottom, Servest’s business director for catering, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with East Ayrshire Leisure on such an exciting new contract.
“The Servest team are thrilled to be moving into the heritage and leisure market and we’re really looking forward to supporting Dean Castle Country Park in further enhancing what is already a wonderful visitor experience.”
