Abstract
Events caterer Seasoned is looking forward to providing ‘unforgettable experiences’ and ‘mouth-watering menus’ for events at the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery and the Royal Pavilion.

Seasoned’s green credentials include sourcing 85% of its ingredients within a 100-mile radius and ensuring its events are carbon neutral thanks to its partnership with the Woodland Trust. Seasoned calculates how much carbon dioxide is created by the number of people attending an event and then pays to plant trees in ancient woodland to offset the impact.

Graham Turner, managing partner of venues at Seasoned, said: “We are truly excited to be adding to our portfolio in Brighton and delivering on the Trust’s aim to create a stimulating and unforgettable experience for guests at events. We are always looking for the next venture in retail events and adding this contract demonstrates the quality and vision of Seasoned venues to deliver into these historic properties.”

Seasoned avoids using mineral water at its events and instead uses bottles made from recycled glass, which can once again be sent for recycling after use.

Hedley Swain, chief executive of the Royal Pavilion & Museum Trust, added: “We are pleased to welcome Seasoned to our portfolio of event caterers. We were impressed by their commitment to sustainable methods which is an issue close to hearts as well as the delicious food they provide. We’re sure visitors to our many events, weddings and performances will enjoy their menus too.”
