Searcys 1847 launches new look

18th Sep 2008 - 00:00
Abstract
Searcys 1847, the caterer has launched a new look along with a redesigned website as it continues to establish itself within the industry.
CEO, Duncan Ackery explained why the change took place: "Searcys aims to offer consumers iconic experiences by the quality of food we create, the style in which we present dishes, the beverages and our professional service – in short, we aim to deliver every time and understand that our brand needs to reflect these values. "Certainly, we needed to create a brand representation that went beyond the outstanding qualities that Searcys has always offered, a brand that has exclusive restaurants, bars and venues in the UK, Searcys 1847, as it is now known, is a truly iconic brand with an established heritage, hence the addition of '1847' to the name." The successful launch of the Champagne Bar at St Pancras has paved the way for a venue that is now selling over 4000 glasses a week. St Pancras Grand was recently launched as well as the refurbishment of the restaurant at the Barbican. Searcys 1847 has timed its rebranding to coincide with the new name of the restaurant and bar on the 40th floor at 30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin). It will now be known as '40/30'. The new Searcys website has been designed by Codegent. Taking the idea of amplifying the iconic experiences of visiting a Searcys' venue, the designers used the whole screen to show how it feels to be actually in the venue.
