On the 18th August 2024, the directors of LACA partner SchoolGrid put on their running shoes and completed a half marathon in Scotland to raise money for the charity. This is their second fundraiser for the foundation after they raised £300 for them at LACA Main Event through a social media competition.
As the first in market to deliver a school Online Allergy Protection System, SchoolGrid is keen to help support the foundation which aims to prevent and eradicate allergic disease, creating a world without allergy. The foundation was set up by Nadim and Tanya Laperouse following the tragic death of their daughter Natasha.
A spokesperson for the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, said: “With your help we will make allergy history through medical research, changes to the law, and increasing awareness of this life-threatening disease. We are the only UK charity dedicated to allergy research.”
