Sales of new Frank Bar smash one week launch target

Sales of the new Frank Bar – the healthy and true ‘Free From’ snack – achieved 1,000% over target during week one, as the product entered the UK market.

Five variants of the Frank Bar collectively sold nearly three times that of the store’s existing brand leader. An initial Frank Bar order, expected to last two months, lasted only seven days.

The Frank bar is made from 100% natural ingredients. Its recipe incorporates certified gluten-free oats, velvety dates, opulent plums, rich natural fruit and full-bodied dark organic chocolate. Many of these ingredients are exclusive to this product in the UK.

Amy Clinkard, buyer at Planet Organic said: “The Frank Bar is appealing to our customers, both in terms of its ethos and product attributes. We celebrate great tasting, natural and organic food - and the Frank Bar is a great tasting ‘free-from’ snack. Having witnessed the last week of product sales we are sure that the Frank Bar will continue to perform extremely well in the snack sector.”
