Abstract
Sacla’ Professionale has today announced its launch into the UK hospitality market, following new research that shows a demand for Italian cuisine in Britain continues to increase.

The company has released a range of products using Italian ingredients aimed at the hospitality trade. The company took the decision to branch out following in the footsteps of its Italian parent company.

Clare Blampied, managing director of Sacla’ UK, said: “The launch of Sacla’ Professionale responds to Britain’s ongoing love affair with Italian food and builds upon our longstanding reputation for excellence and quality in the grocery channel.

“We are proud to have 75 years of experience creating Italian food with care, flair and love, and we are well established in Italy where many thriving hotels and restaurants use our trusted products.

“We believe that now is the time to launch a carefully selected range of these unique products to the UK market, catering for consumer demand for quality, provenance and value for money. Our ambition is to become a go-to supplier of quality authentic Italian food and drink.”

The research Sacla was influenced by shows that 92% of UK consumers enjoy eating Italian food and 42% of them prefer to enjoy it out at a pub or restaurant. It was conducted by OnePoll in December 2014 and polled 2,000 UK adults.
