Roadchef partners with Lifetime Training to deliver apprenticeship programmes

Roadchef, the UK motorway service area operator, has partnered with Lifetime Training, the private hospitality training provider, to deliver apprenticeship programmes to its employees.

The new programme, tailored specifically for Roadchef employees, will launch across all 21 locations and 30 Roadchef areas.

Jane Frost, training and development manager at Roadchef, said: “I am excited about our new partnership with Lifetime Training and the opportunities that this brings to the business.

“It will offer our employees a great avenue to develop their skills and build longer term careers with Roadchef as a business. It fits directly with out People Plan and builds on our continuing commitment to develop out internal talent.”

Lifetime Training will deliver apprenticeships in hospitality services level 2, counter takeaway level 2, kitchen services level 2, hospitality supervision and leadership level 3, retail level 2 and 3, and business administration level 2 and 3.

As of April 6th, 2017 businesses with an annual pay bill of at least £3 million have to invest 0.5% of the total in apprenticeships.
