The deli, which opened earlier this month, forms part of ExCeL London’s £15m investment, featuring a host of new restaurants and eateries.
Steven Lamb from River Cottage said: “Sharing our passion for sustainable food integrity and the consumption of local, seasonal organic produce is what underpins the River Cottage experience.
“We are delighted to open the new Deli at ExCeL London and create and share our values with visitors while giving them a little taste of the original River Cottage.”
River Cottage serves a range of homemade, sustainable and organic dishes, from fresh sandwiches to a hot food counter, with merguez meatballs, treacle cured beef and beetroot pakoras.
Kevin Watson, Director of Catering at ExCeL London Hospitality, added: “River Cottage combines our knowledge and expertise of creating bespoke organic and sustainable food concepts to create truly special experiences.”
Last year, Levy Restaurants signed a 10 year contract extension with ExCeL London and since then Prime Burger, American diner The Bridge and E16, an artisan coffee shop have all opened at the complex.
