Lauran Bush, one of the founders, commented: “For too long, many have had nowhere to turn to when they had questions to ask or problems to face. We have therefore created a safe space where anyone can come, connect with others regardless of industry, geography or language and access real leaders, ask questions and learn.
“Never before have so many leaders from around the world been prepared to be interviewed about their own failings and their learnings. It makes a statement for their desire to see greater openness and support, for real change for the leaders of tomorrow.”
Pre-pandemic 15.4 million days were lost in 2018 due to stress, anxiety and depression. More than half of employees (63%) do not trust their leaders and the majority of millennials do not believe that business was run ethically.
Chris Sheppardson, co-founder of Ritrovo, added: “For far too long have people been dismissed for failure so is it a surprise when there is a growing fear of failure, especially when one adds in the extra pressures of debt that many of the young carry today?
“The criticism of failure has always been wrong; it is a natural part of growing, of learning and failure is an important part of the journey which is to be supported and embraced.”
