Restaurant Associates retains deal with Wellcome Trust
Abstract
Restaurant Associates, the executive dining division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has retained its catering contract with the Wellcome Trust for a further three years.

Under the new £5 million deal, Restaurant Associates will deliver ‘best in class’ food to 700 Wellcome Trust employees in their staff restaurant and cafe.

The 45 strong Restaurant Associates on-site team will also be responsible for delivering conference catering to the meeting rooms, fine dining for large events; and hospitality to delegates using the Trust’s Wellcome Collection conference facilities.

Andy Harris, managing director of Restaurant Associates commented: “It is a real privilege to work with the team at the Wellcome Trust. We’re extremely pleased that our 12 year partnership with them is continuing and we have some really exciting and innovative plans in place to take the food and service we provide to the next level.”   

Charles Griffin, facilities manager for the Wellcome Trust added: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Restaurant Associates. The tender process involved some tough competition but they rose to the challenge on all fronts.”
