LACA members are being offered the chance to get involved in a live TV discussion about tackling food waste – without leaving the comfort of their desks.

Hosted by FootprintChannel, the programme titled ‘Waste – What Next?’ is to be broadcast on Monday, October 8th.

Charles Miers, managing director of Footprint Media Group, which is organising the event, said: “The idea is if you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you. We have assembled key authorities in food waste as well as high profile foodservice names to discuss ‘Waste – What Next?’

“The programme is fully interactive and questions can be submitted from the window that you will view the programme. It’s also being broadcast live at the Restaurant Show

“Those in the programme are authorities in their field and people one would not ordinarily have access to, not to mention hearing them in discussion.

“We give you the opportunity to interact with them live on the show – all from the comfort of your own desk or board room

“Once registered you will be sent an instant messaging link to communicate directly on the day. You will also have the opportunity to submit questions pre-broadcast to help shape the debate around information you require.

“The show will last 45 minutes, but panelists are committed to answering all of your questions for up to two hours following the show.”

The event is being supported by WRAP, Brakes, Nestlé Professional, Acquire Services and Huhtamaki.
