The VarioCookingCenter is a multifunctional cooking appliance for boiling, frying and deep-frying. It enables caterers to reduce the space requirement in the kitchen by 30% and it will also save 40% on electricity.
There are 130 million meals that are prepared with rational units every day. The customer range includes the public sector (schools and hospitals), restaurants and supermarkets.
The Smart Label Award is based on equipment functionality and environmental sustainability.
Rational have previously won this award for their small combi-steamer, the SelfCookingCenter XS and the company’s networking solution ConnectedCooking.

The VarioCookingCenter can cook delicate products including rice pudding, béchamel sauce and risotto.
