Abstract
Restaurant Associates (RA), the executive dining arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has retained its contract with the UK's largest charity, The Wellcome Trust, for a further three years.
The deal, worth £4.2 million in total turnover, will allow RA to deliver its promise of energising the business with great food and service, and capitalise on its strong client relationships across the business.
In addition, RA will be developing the Trusts employee café and restaurant concepts by focusing on areas such as lifestyle initiatives and marketing, provenance menus, retail led offers and an interactive Chefs' Table.
Steve Mason, meeting services manager and senior client for the Wellcome Trust, explained: "RA has demonstrated that they can bring economies of scale of the Compass Group but deliver a product very much tailored to the individual requirements of the Trust in their pursuit of excellence, I am enthusiastic for our future successes with RA as our services partners."
