Public Sector Forum Gets Ready to Launch

The Public Sector Forum conference programme has been devised to engage delegates in thought-provoking and inspirational seminars delivered by experts in each field. Topics include: - Food and equipment procurement - Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Issues - Nutritional labelling - Skills and Training, including the UK Skills Passport - Staff attraction and retention - Diversity in the workplace Network with colleagues, industry experts and suppliers during coffee and lunch breaks, as well as at the Conference Dinner on Tuesday night. Exhibition Viewing Running alongside the conference sessions on 18th November, the Public Sector Catering Exhibition will feature a host of suppliers to your industry displaying their latest products and services. Workshop sessions In addition to the Public Sector Forum on Tuesday 18th November, there are a number of workshop sessions taking place on Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th November specific to each sector. LACA will be holding a half-day seminar on Wednesday 19th November looking at issues relating to implementing the government standards that were raised at their annual conference in July. These sessions will also be used as a springboard for the LACA Catering Summit in London on 25th March 2009. Seminar sessions on Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th November covering both catering and facilities management issues faced by those within the Armed Forces, based both in the UK and overseas. A series of workshops on Monday 17th and Wednesday 19th November for catering personnel within UK prisons. The focus will be on harmonisation of menus; making the most of your catering budget; the revisions of PSO 5000 and exploring the links between healthcare, exercise and good food for both prisoners and staff. A half-day seminar on Wednesday 19th November hosted by the National Association of Care Catering. Seminar sessions to be held on Wednesday 19th November aimed at caterers within hospitals and healthcare trusts.
