Today (4th March) we reveal those shortlisted in the following categories: Care Catering Award, Marketing Award, Innovation Award, Health & Nutrition Award and the Sustainability Award.
The Public Sector Catering Awards are open to individuals, teams and organisations, including contract caterers operating in a public sector environment. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 4th April at the Hilton London Metropole. Book your place here.
This week Public Sector Catering will reveal the shortlisted nominees from 17 award categories. The final accolade is the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is chosen by a small industry panel. This is a tribute to a person or organisation, and recognises dedication, service and significant achievement in catering over a long period of time.
Speaking about the awards nominations David Foad, editor of Public Sector Catering, said: “We received just shy of 180 entries this year, which is not only a record but a jump up from the 154 of 2023, which at the time was the best-yet.
“There must be a number of financial ways of measuring whether the catering sector has bounced back from pre-pandemic levels of activity, but if you’re looking for a simple yardstick of confidence and enthusiasm then awards entries are as good a metric as any. Thank you for such an overwhelming reaction, it has provided us with a challenge it has been a pleasure to meet.”
