Abstract
Alexia Robinson, founder of British Food Fortnight, will join Public Sector Catering for a webinar on 16 September to discuss the event that champions British produce.
British Food Fortnight, which is scheduled to take place from 18 September to 3 October 2021, encourages people to seek out British food and drink when they are shopping or eating out.
The campaign celebrates the best of British cuisine across the public sector in schools, hospitals, care homes and universities. This is the 20th year of the national celebration of the ‘diverse and delicious’ food that Britain produces.
The webinar will involve a panel discussion looking at:
- What action are caterers taking to source British?
- Are we seeing more catering managers move to form relationships with local suppliers?
- What more can we do to inspire and achieve British sourcing across the public sector?
- Who is ahead of the game in this area already?
- What we can learn from Scotland?
Love British Food ambassadors include chef Raymond Blanc, Bake Off winner Candice Brown, MasterChef winner Jane Devonshire, LACA chair Stephen Forster and Andy Jones chair of the PS100 Group.
