It will include an exhibition of over 100 suppliers as well as a lively speaker programme and informative cooking demonstrations. The PSC Expo will provide multiple opportunities to connect, collaborate and exchange ideas.
The Expo, which is free to attend, is the only national event to bring together chefs and caterers from across all areas of the public sector – from schools to hospitals, universities, catering colleges, the social care sector, and prisons through to the military.
Within the public sector, almost three billion meals are served each year and with that figure forecast to continue growing we must, as an industry, come together and support those individuals and companies that work within it.
With over 100 suppliers participating in the exhibition, attendees can explore the latest products, equipment, and service solutions for the public sector catering industry.
The Public Sector Catering Alliance sponsors who will be attending the PSC Expo include Bidfood (stand number 27), Birds Eye Green Cuisine (46), Brakes (64), Civica (51), Essential Cuisine (7), Falcon Foodservice equipment (32), Hobart (6), Meiko (62), Moffat Catering Equipment (38), Premier Foods (15), Unilever Food Solutions (76), Unox (37), Wafflemeister (45), Williams Refrigeration (31) and Winterhalter (65).
A Devil’s Kitchen spokesperson said: “Having never attended the PSC Expo before, we found it to be really beneficial for a few reasons: mainly to launch our new range of products to the public sector in one place; to reconnect with existing customers’ and to update them on new innovation and not forgetting the chance to network with all the public sector associations and representatives.
“Catering within the public sector is so important and therefore, any opportunities to network; expose our brand and products to new customers and ensure that information is shared is of great importance to us and I suspect other suppliers to this sector. As you would expect from the organisers Dewberry Redpoint, everything was easy to arrange; simple to complete and the onsite team were always there to help and support.”
The Expo combines education, networking, and exposure to the latest trends and innovations. It's a great opportunity for those working in the sector to stay updated and connect with peers and suppliers.
