Hospitality professionals were tasked with building an extra teaching area in a government secondary school to increase the capacity of the school and help to spread education throughout the local community.
Gaynor Black, GB Hospitality, said: “This challenge helped not only kids in the UK but also made a huge difference to 22 young lives in Little Tibet, so once again we thank everyone sincerely, without your support this would not have happened.
“The funds we raised will go towards helping 70 young people in the UK achieve roles in the hospitality sector during the next 12 months.”
All the money raised goes towards Springboard’s vital work to support the young, the unemployed and those facing barriers to work into sustainable employment within the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector.
