A spokesperson for Premier Foodservice said: “We know British Food Fortnight is an event which many of our customers and chefs like to get involved with so we are busy sharing ideas and inspiration on our social media channels.
“This is the 20th year of the national celebration of the diverse and delicious food that Britain produces. Lots of activities will be taking place in schools, pubs and restaurants, universities, care homes and hospitals throughout the event.”
To help chefs prepare their menus for the event Premier Foodservice found some of the most popular British recipes that their chefs have created. Each recipe features an ingredients list, an allergens check and a method of cooking as well as a tip to help chefs replicate the dish.
