Abstract
Precision Refrigeration launched a promotional campaign at Christmas offering registered charities ‘nearly new’ fridges.

The Army Cadet Force (ACF) at Waterbeach in Cambridgeshire received two ‘nearly new' fridges after hearing about the promotion.

Nick Williams, managing director of Precision Refrigeration, said: “It seemed a shame that these ‘nearly new’ perfectly good products were not being used. They are a result of exhibition equipment, loan products or items with minor transport damage that were sitting in our warehouse.

“I have decided to give this stock away to registered charities who are in need of extra equipment in a kitchen area, but only whilst stocks last.”

Cambridgeshire ACF boosts young people’s confidence, teamwork and physicality. The centre at Waterbeach provides office accommodation for some of the support staff and there is also a weekend training centre that houses 100 cadets and instructors with classrooms.

Colonel Mark Knight MBE, cadet commandant, added: “It gives a ‘warm feeling’ that kind-hearted people like yourself are keen to support us in our work with the Youth of Cambridgeshire… it makes it worthwhile us knowing this.”

Registered charities interested in the promotion can contact Precision Refrigeration at: www.precision-refrigeration.com or call: 01842 753994.
