The competition supports all skills from produce to kitchen preparation as well as cocktails and wine service.
Two heats have already taken place and the judges said: “The standard of cooking has been outstanding. We are impressed with the thought that has gone into producing these menus and the quality of the dishes plated. Choosing a winner has been very difficult. Everyone should be very proud.”
The Judges from the heats will become the winning team’s mentors and help them develop their skills for the final on the 10th May at West Suffolk College. ‘A Passion to Inspire’ has planned a special Upskill day for all The front of house student finalists.
The prizes for winning include meeting the iconic Pierre Koffmann, Ross Sneddon and Henrique Sa Pessoa at The 23rd Skills for Chefs Conference.
