Called The Re:Purpose Summit, it will aim to give participants actionable tips and insights into the future of hospitality and ensure that collaboration networks are ‘built to get women back to successfully leading the hospitality industry in innovative ways’.
Over the course of the day, panels will offer practical advice for women working through their re-opening plans and cover a series of topical subjects including The Power of Technology, The Big Re-Open Masterclass and People at the Heart of Hospitality.
Harriet Minter, talkRadio’s host of Badass Women’s Hour, will chair the event and among those taking part will be Ali Earl-Grey, head of marketing for Indian restaurant chain Kricket; Ravinder Bhogal, chef-patron of Jikoni London; Debbie Wosskow, co-founder of AllBright; and Mex Ibrahim, co-founder of Women In The Food Industry, the networking and collaboration group.
Natalie Campbell, chief executive of Belu, says: ‘In a post Covid-19 world, all businesses will need to think differently about how they operate, give back and build resilience.
“At Belu we believe there is a better way to do business that puts people, communities and the environment at the core of how we operate.
“As a women-led business we also want to ensure that the right support and collaboration networks are built and information shared to get women in the industry back to being successful at what they do best.”
She added that while tickets were free, there was a suggested donation to Hestia to support their women’s refuges and mental health facilities, which are in ‘desperate need of resources and funding’.
