Abstract
There is just one week left to submit your nominations for the annual Public Sector Catering Awards 2020.

The PSC Awards ceremony will take place on 16 April 2020 at the Hilton London Metropole. The awards have been renamed and rebranded to better reflect the sector we operate in.

The annual awards are open to individuals and teams that operate in the public sector including contract caterers. Within the public sector there are almost three billion meals served every year to people in schools, hospitals, universities, prisons, care homes and the Armed Forces.

The Public Sector Catering Awards will feature three new categories for 2020, including the Catering College Award, Catering Manager of the Year Award and the Unsung Hero accolade.

The Catering College Award is open to individuals, teams or an organisation that have delivered ‘exceptional’ results in student qualifications. Candidates should have demonstrated how they have ‘inspired’ students into careers in the hospitality industry and how they supported them to achieve their aims.

Also new for 2020 is the Catering Manager of the Year Award, where the winner will have demonstrated exceptional skill when delivering for their client/organisation and have shown the ability to motivate colleagues or staff.

The Unsung Hero award is for an individual or perhaps a team that goes ‘above and beyond’ the norm to support their customers, colleagues or community in exceptional ways. The winner does not have to be a caterer but they have to work within the public sector catering environment.

To nominate yourself, your team or someone else, visit: http://pscawards.co.uk/nominate-1 before the closing date of 29 January 2020.
