Since 2003 VegfestUK has ‘inspired’ other vegan events across the globe. According to a survey by comparethemarket.com there are 3.5 million vegans in the UK. There are also an estimated 22 million ‘flexitarians’ who enjoy meat and dairy but they want to reduce their consumption.
In 2018 the sixth VegfestUK attracted 280 exhibitors, 150 speakers and 14,000 attendees over two days. This year is predicted to be even more popular as there are 325 exhibitors, 25 global caterers, 200 speakers and an estimated 15,000 visitors over the two days.
The Natural Therapy Zone is one of the new features for this year located on level two of Olympia Central. This new area focuses on healing and wellbeing items and eco-friendly products. There will be talks on a variety of subjects including health, veganic growing and the environment along with live vegan cooking demonstrations for attendees.
