Oliver Harvey goes into battle for England and the UK

1st Nov 2010 - 00:00
Abstract
The British Oliver Harvey chefswear brand is set to receive further international exposure through its association with two high profile culinary events.
The first is the 2010 Culinary World Cup to be held in Luxembourg (20th-24th November 2010) and the second is Bocuse D'Or in Lyon, France (25th-26th January 2011). At the Culinary World Cup members of the English team, captained by Simon Hulstone chef-proprietor of the Michelin-starred Elephant restaurant in Torquay, Devon, will wear a different jacket from the Oliver Harvey range each day as part of their commitment to making every aspect of the team's entry as traditionally English as possible. And Oliver Harvey will also be Hulstone's brand of choice when he represents the UK at the Bocuse D'Or - widely regarded as one of the world's most respected culinary competitions for chefs. 'For a brand that is still in its infancy – having only launched at Hotelympia in February – to receive such recognition so early on is not just an honour but also a testament to the quality of the products and an indication that there is a strong demand for British made chefswear', said a spokesman for Oliver Harvey.
