Abstract
Commerical TV network ITV has awarded Olive Catering Services three contracts across three of its locations, including on the set of Coronation Street.

As part of the deal, the Midlands-based contract caterer will open staff restaurants at Orange Tower at Manchester’s MediaCity, Leeds Television Centre and Trafford Wharf Road- home to Coronation Street.

The contracts, worth in excess of £6 million, will see Olive Catering provide for over 1,700 ITV staff, cast members and crew.

Each location will boast deli bars, specialist coffee counters, and a hospitality and events provision.

“ITV is a fantastic brand to be working with and we are excited to open three superb facilities where we can show just how passionate we are about producing amazing food,” said Olive Catering co-founder Damon Brown.

“Each of the three sites is iconic in its own right, and we couldn’t wish for a better way to mark our entry into the thriving media industry – a new sector to add to our growing portfolio.”

Angela Linsky, operations and service delivery manager (North) at ITV, added: “We cannot wait for Olive to bring its refreshing and honest approach to workplace catering onto our sites in Leeds and Manchester.

“From the moment we first came into contact, we knew the brand was a great cultural fit for ITV. The support on offer at a local level will prove to be a real asset to our catering teams.”
