Olive Catering Services get green fingered in aid of local woodland
Abstract
A group of eight volunteers from Olive Catering Services have lent their support to a local conservation programme aimed at protecting nearby woodland.

Volunteers spent the day at The Outwoods, on the outskirts of Loughborough, as part of Olive’s ongoing CSR initiative. A full scope of the woods was undertaken making the woods safer for walkers.

Damon Brown, co-founder of Olive Catering Services, said: “The day was a huge success and it was great to see some of our staff spend time out of their comfort zone and working together for the benefit of such a valuable area of local interest.

“Giving back to the local community is a big part of working at Olive and has been since the business was first formed in 2004.

“By working closely with our local volunteering body, Leicestershire Cares, we offer regular opportunities for staff to get involved in the type of volunteering projects which not only put something back to the community but also help to build and enhance the team-working culture of our company.

“We’re looking forward to seeing more of our staff make the most of the other opportunities we have in the pipeline over the months to come.”

Olive Catering Services is an independent contract catering company that provides a wide variety of high quality, tailored contract catering solutions to businesses.
