The accreditation, granted to employers and establishments providing quality work experience, was awarded to Olive after a partnership with New College Nottingham saw two students spend one week working in Olive’s staff restaurant at Capital One.
Ruth Bankover, head of work experience and INSPIRE at Springboard, said: “I was very impressed by Olive Catering’s work experience programme. All paperwork and documentation is of a high standard and their commitment to work experience is clear.
“Springboard is delighted to award Olive with the Inspire accreditation.”
Two students, Shamar Bucchus and Louis Decaux, were given first hand experience in a barista role and in a kitchen role, respectively.
The accreditation is part of The Springboard Charity, which helps young people, the disadvantaged, and unemployed improve their life prospects through a career in hospitality, leisure and tourism.
