OAPA announces speaker line-up for Annual Conference

Hospitality industry charity Only A Pavement Away (OAPA), which supports the homeless and ex-veterans achieve employment in the hospitality industry, has announced the line-up of its Annual Conference.

The OAPA Annual Conference will take place at Freemasons Hall, London, on 18 March 2020. The conference will feature speakers who will highlight the importance of providing stability through hospitality employment. 

Johnny Mercer MP, minister for defence, people and veterans, is one of the keynote speakers. He will discuss how society needs to change the way it supports those who have served in the Armed Forces. 

Greg Mangham, founder of OAPA, said: “Our conference is a fantastic opportunity to share updates on the success of the charity itself, but also discuss how as an industry and individuals we can further support those in need.

“I urge anyone who is interested in learning more about the charity, or wants to get inspired, to come along and discover why it is we do what we do.”

Other speakers include Kate Nicholls chief executive of UKHospitality, ex-Royal Marine Scotty Mills and Duncan O’Leary chief executive at The New Futures Network.
