Nutella launches tub for smaller foodservice operators

Popular spread brand Nutella is hoping to attract smaller businesses with the launch of its 1.35kg tub.

Currently available in 3kg pots only, parent brand Ferrero Foodservice said the brand new, smaller version is “ideal for businesses who are looking to introduce spread to their menu, but require a smaller volume for their operation.”

 

Designed with sustainability and safety in mind, it’s straight sides ensure ease of use, durability and minimal wastage.

 

Foodservice channel operations manager at Ferrero UK & Ireland, Zareen Deboo, commented: “Breakfast is a huge profit opportunity for the hospitality industry and we understand that all operators - large and small - should be in a position to benefit from this growing consumer trend.

 

“With seven out of ten people expecting to see Nutella on menus, the new size tub means it’s easier than ever to bring the great taste of Nutella to a variety of breakfast goods.
